Title of Keynote Speech: Recent advances and emerging trends in AI

Prof. Martin Vechev is a Full Professor of Computer Science at ETH Zurich where he leads a research group that works on various topics related to artificial intelligence, including building next-generation safe and secure AI systems, foundational models, and more. He is also the founder and scientific director of INSAIT in Sofia, Bulgaria (https://insait.ai/), the first world-class AI research institution in Eastern Europe, created in partnership with ETH and EPFL. Prior to ETH, he was a Research Staff Member at the IBM T.J. Watson Research Center in New York, USA. He obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge, England. His research has received many prestigious awards including the ACM Robin Milner Award as well as various distinguished paper awards at leading research conferences.
