Before becoming Director of Equity Sales at ING Financial Markets, Sébastien was Managing Director at KBC Securities, where he led the Equity Sales & Sales Trading team for 10 years. Previously, he worked at Petercam for 11 years as the Head of Institutional Equity Sales and was responsible for Petercam’s New York offices from 1998 to 2000.

Active for more than 25 years in the equity markets, Sébastien has been involved in most of the IPOs and ECM transactions in the Benelux.

Sébastien has been ranked Best Benelux Equity Sales several times over the past three decades and was recently awarded Best Benelux Equity Sales in 2023, 2022, and 2021.

First Coverage ranked Sébastien as the 5th best European stockpicker in 2009 and 2010. In 2015 and 2016, T.I.M., the world’s largest independent trade ideas network, ranked Sébastien 2nd among the best European stockpickers in terms of idea performance among 4,000 sell-side equity contributors and 300 investment banks. He also achieved the top 3 industrials sector specialist with best overall idea performance in Europe in 2021.

Sébastien holds a Master’s degree in Management Engineering from ICHEC Brussels Management School.
