Travel grant application is available only to delegates that have submitted an abstract for the EANS2026 Hamburg Congress. The link to the application is included in the automated email that is sent upon submission to the submitting author of each abstract.
Travel grants for participation at the EANS2026 Congress will be awarded on a competitive basis according to the following criteria:
AGE: Candidates have to be neurosurgeons 40 years of age or under at the time of EANS2026 (whether qualified or in training): born on September 30, 1986, or later.
COUNTRY: Candidates have to live and work in countries that are categorised as the World Bank Low Income or Lower Middle Income – See HERE
ABSTRACT: Candidates must submit an abstract for the EANS2026 Congress and the abstract needs to be accepted (notification of acceptance will be sent after submission).

The following documents are required for a valid application – all in English
- Personal Statement of one A4 page outlining why and how attending EANS2026 would be of benefit to you
- CV (maximum 2 pages)
- Confirmation by the institution/hospital/university you work for (with stamp & signature)
- Copy of passport identity page
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- We will not accept application documents via e-mail. Applicants will have to upload all files during the abstract submission. No application will be accepted by e-mail. Changing documents after submission is not possible.
- Applications must be submitted with the applicant’s true details. Awarded travel grants that are proved to bear false claims (i.e. country of residence) will be retracted and the applicant may face penalties for future participation in EANS events and activities.
